Thanks, but sorry, no the suppression doesn't work.  I think it must be cause there are actually values, but they are not being displayed.  The suppression must work only for zero values.

In the column pane I have defined the Date characteristic followed by the Key figures Structure.

The user can change the Date characteristic to 0CALDAY, 0FISCPER or 0FISCYEAR so it is changeable and will vary according to the Characteristic Restrictions chosen by the user and the level of granularity that they wish to report.
