Hi Patrick, when you say that the user could see all views within a package - you are talking about just within Explorer, correct?
Reason I ask is that I am testing with Lumira now and I don't see a way to limit what HANA views a user can see in order to select as as DataSource. It seems that by default that the user can see ALL views in ALL packages. Whether they have authorization to execute these or not is determined by the analytical priveleges, but they can see all to start selection. I am wondering if it is the same scenario with Explorer OR if assigning a package privilege in HANA results in only certain package views being available for selection as a basis for an Explorer Information Space?
The test was completed with the following role in HANA
Roles - PUBLIC
SQL Privileges - Execute and SELECT on _SYS_BIC, _SYS_BI, Execute on REPOSITORY_REST Analytic Privileges - The one that I created with just one view in it
System - None
Packages - None
Thanks,
Justin
