Cube restriction in query

hi,

We have a multiprovider that consists of 7 cubes. In identification of key figure, there are few key figures that are only in one cube and I selected.
Now in query deisinger, when using that key figure; if i restrict that cube in the selection, will that enhance the performance of the report?
My doubt is already we are restricting that in the identification, will it improve performance if do that in Query designer also?
