I'm on Dashboard 4.0 SP4 and in our dashboard we connect to a universe with Oracle DB in the back-end. The dashboard makes use of a query based on the universe, which returns 200 rows of data to be utilized. The query is configured as being refreshed before all components are loaded.
When previewing the dashboard, everything works fine. After the connection to the BOE server is established, the query data is downloaded and the dashboard is rendered successfully. However after exporting the dashboard to a flash/pdf...etc to my local PC, it gets stuck at 'Initializing...' after I input the user credential of the BOE server.
I can't put my finger on why it succeeds during the Preview but fails after being exported. I doubt it might be the problem in flash security setting. Therefore I adjusted the config following the instructions on http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04a.html
My swf file has been added to the Allowed Locations list. However, it did not solve the problem at all.
Would anyone shed some light on this, please?
