We have a problem within our EPM10 reports/temlates, that is quite frustrating... hope someone can help! We have reports which we will build, some simple, some complex, however upon completion, we then have a "clone" of the report, where we may have 1 additional dimension defined at the column axis, which was originally on the first report in the page axis. Our expectation was that we can simply use the delivered BPC MS 10 functionality, and move the dimension in the edit report or drag/drop from page to column axis, and then modify each column accordingly for our dataset.
The problem....?
As soon as we move from page to column, the report/template will not refresh, and gives us errors such as "contact your administrator" or "error with refresh"... and so on.
In EVDRE's it was much easier to manually manipulated the report format for page/row/column key ranges, so we are wondering what other customers have run into with EPM10 for MS, and any ideas you may have.
We've tried various options where we link local members to positions, to other local members, etc...
The bottom line is that when we make what should be a simple change of axis, the report will either error, or in some cases creates 100's of columns to the right and messes up the formatting of the original columns, sometimes beyond repair, forcing us to recreate the reports from scratch.
